Additional time: $88 per hour

  • Basic hand and power tools included

Driver / labourer works alongside the Bobcat and operator to assist with loading, site preparation, and clean-up related to the booking. This does not cover general labour for unrelated tasks.

Disposal and tip fees are charged separately based on material type, weight and volume.

Tipper and Bobcat Combo

This is the best setup for jobs that need both loading and removal on the same day. It reduces downtime, keeps material moving, and avoids the hassle of coordinating separate contractors.

How Pricing Works

Most jobs are priced using one of two approaches.

Hourly Hire Rates

Best suited for ongoing load-outs and excavation work, rubbish removal, soil, dirt, earth and concrete loaded into bogie tippers, tipper trucks or skip bins. Also ideal for site preparation and levelling where the time on site can vary.

Lump Sum Quotes

If the scope is clear upfront, we’ll quote the whole job as a fixed amount. This works well when access, material type and disposal requirements are easy to assess before we start. No surprises, just a set price for the job.

What does the Bobcat day rate include?

The Bobcat day rate includes the machine and an experienced operator for the working day, up to 8 hours.

Why is there a float charge for the Bobcat?

The float charge covers transporting the Bobcat to and from your site. It is a one-off charge per booking, applied on the first day only. 

Is the float charged every day?

No. The float is charged once at the start of the job. Any additional days are charged every day thereafter is charged at $88 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours.

How many hours are included in a day rate?

The Bobcat day rate includes up to 8 hours on site. Any additional hours are charged at the standard hourly rate of $88 per hour.

How much is a full 8 hour day?

A full 8 hour day of bobcat and operator hire is $902 inc GST.

Can I hire the Bobcat and tipper truck together?

Yes. Bobcat and tipper truck hire can be booked together and coordinated as one job to reduce downtime and keep work moving.

Can you quote fixed-price jobs?

Yes. If the scope of work is clear, we are happy to provide lump-sum project quotes instead of day-rate pricing.

What affects the final cost of a job?

Access, material type, site conditions, weather, and disposal requirements can all affect the time needed. We will always discuss this upfront before booking.

Are disposal or tip fees included in the hire rate?

No. Hire rates cover the machine, operator, and truck if booked. Disposal and tip fees are charged separately because costs vary depending on the material type and how much is removed. We’ll confirm this upfront before the job starts. If the project is quoted as a fixed price or lump sum, disposal will be included in that quote.
